Tusen takk, VALORANT!

It was a great ride with some outstanding moments but unfortunately today we bid farewell to our VALORANT Roster.

While VALORANT made quite an impression during its launch, but as time went by, it was unable to maintain its initial hype. Even the current status of coverage when it comes to EU Valorant is strenuous as most of the games are single elimination, BO1’s. Thereby making it difficult to follow the games and gain more exposure. Nevertheless, we believe VALORANT has yet to prove itself and we hope it does. We’ll monitor this one closely and look to get back into it sometime early next year.

We really appreciate the relentless hard work the boys put in trying to get past the tricky tournament formats. We would like to thank all the passionate and talented people who have been a part of this ride. We wish you the best for your future!

OGA Counter Pit Season 8: CHAMPIONS

OGA Counter PIT Season 5 is an online European tournament organized by One Game Agency which is backed by sponsors such as AMD and Sapphire Technology, among others.

The team took a lion’s share in the $15,000 tournament prize pool!
The team started the tournament with a win in the opening round against Nemiga Gaming with a score of 2-1. In the semifinals of the upper bracket we won 2-1 against the mighty Team Secret! Later in the upper bracket finals, we rolled over the Romanian side Nexus gaming with a score of 2-1. In the grand finals we met Nexus Gaming again but this time around the team made we had a clean victory of 2-0!

Here’s what the CEO Kim aka Zarotan has to say on winning a second title in a span of two weeks!

“OGA Counter Pit was another show of the skill that can be found in this team. The boys fought hard, kept their focus and when doing that they simply CAN NOT be stopped. At this point I am just in awe of their skill and I know there is just so much more potential under the surface as well.”

The team has been in excellent form over the past couple of weeks as they made a back to back to back grand finale appearance, while winning back to back tournaments! We are super excited to see how many more will we have under our belt until the end of the season! #LetsHunt 🏹

VALORANT Roster Update

Our effort towards building a strong esports brand continues with a small roster shuffle in our VALORANT Team!  After a lot of consideration and keeping in the mind about the upcoming ‘VALORANT First Strike’ qualifications, we’d like to announce that Jason ‘Lei’ Beach and Kalle ‘KP1337’ Persson will be replacing Sebbz and Manneten respectively on the VALORANT roster!

While KP1337 is a former CSGO player having previously played for teams such as Epsilon Hype and Rogue Academy. He brings a lot of experience and is a rock in-game, someone you can always count on.
Lei, on the other hand, is new to the esports scene and is eager to make his mark in the it. He brings the crucial mental aspect to the team, both ingame and outside the game.

Here’s what the IGL LATEKS has to say on the roster shuffle:

LATEKS:  “We haven’t had the results we were hoping for recently, so we came to a conclusion to make some changes within the team. Bringing in a new coach, player and changing up some roles within the team. We’re certain you will see a new SKADE moving forward, and can’t wait to showcase it in First Strike.”

From everyone at SKADE – We would like to thank Sebbz and Manneten for all their constant hard work and effort. We wish them the best of luck for their future!

cyberPRO Champions

Today marked a big day for us as we came out victorious in the cyberPRO Series #2!! And not only that, we had a perfect run!

This year has been a strange one for us in many ways and we have had our fair share of bad luck. That makes this win all the more important to the boys, as they finally got to show their full potential.

We started the tournament taking down lvlUP esports and Golden Knights gaming in the group stages and thus securing a good seed going into the playoffs.

The playoffs had some serious names listed and in our run we had to take down NAVI-Junior, Team Singularity and finally Lyngby Vikings.

With tons and tons of tournaments to come we are glad to see that the boys are hungry and ready to fight! We are excited to see what’s to come!
