It’s a going to be an entertaining Sunday as two of the strongest CS:GO teams in Bulgarian Esports collide to take home A1 Gaming League 2020. The boys showcased a rampant performance on their way to the finals as they are unbeaten in the tournament so far.

The team started by playing in the Group A match against Team Random Players and defeated them by a score of 16-7. The Group A finale consisted of a Best of 3 format against the LB winner, BLUEJAYS Int. in which the team won 2-1. The team showed a dominant performance as they won 3-0 in a BO5 fixture semi-final fixture against Team DZVER.

Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov, Team IGL said, “I am really proud of the team, it has been a little over 6 months since we created this roster, for which we’ve played tremendously well! I eagerly look forward to our performance at the grand finals against FATE Esports.”

With time comes change

For those who have been following us for some time now you may have noticed some change in the past week. As we have been batteling to find our form and get back into shape, it became clear that some changes would be needed.

It has been a long and tough process, but the team has decided to bench Ivan “rock1ng” Stratiev and Kostadin “rafftu” Turbinov.

Replacements will come in the form of Viktor “Duplicate” Mitev from FATE Esports and Blagoi “Oxygen” Yordanov Dimitrov. These young talents will bring some much needed fresh minds into the roster and a positive vibe. Duplicate is the more established one and will surely bring his experience and Oxygen has the raw aim that’s needed in todays CSGO meta.

“This has been something we have worked on for some time now and it was not an easy decision to make. With the changes we have made we feel like it is the optimal lineup to have in the Bulgarian scene right now and i cant wait to see what the future brings.”
– CEO, Kim-Erik Aanes

“I feel pretty bad that our start lineup didnt work out in the end, as Rock1nG and Rafftu are great guys, but something needed to change. At the same time im extra motivated to work with the new lineup which is new as lately my motivation was not great and i believe we can achieve great things with oxygen and duplicate as they are both really interesting young and fresh talent!”
– Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov

Make sure you give our new players a warm welcome and stay tuned for the greatness that is to come!!

Sector:MOSTBET CHAMPIONS!!

Another title has been secured as we come out victorious in the duel against ESPADA in the grand final of Sector:MOSTBET Cup. With it comes a 7.000$ winning and we get our first tournament win of 2020!!

Our road to the final was in no way a simple one as we had to fight our way in the group stages where we beat HellRaisers and then Pompa. We then fell against Tricked and had to fight for our survival in the lower brackets. There was no stopping the boys tho and they plowed their way trough to the final with another win against Pompa and a sweet revenge against Tricked.

It’s now time for a much needed day of rest, before qualifiers during the weekend and next week we have both LOOT.Bet season 6 and MDL Relegation tournament starting up. Following us really does ensure that you get pretty much non-stop action 😉

This win means a lot of me and the team because it’s our first 1st placed tournament after I joined the team. I’m so happy for the boys because they show me that they are improving every day on the psychic level and keep their heads fresh and calm until the end of the match. We have had a crazy stacked schedule for the past 3-4 weeks and played every day except 2 or 3 (not sure :p), but the show must go on! – We’re ready to grind everything.

Next officials are scheduled for this weekend with Parimatch League hosted by SLTV. And next week we have MDL relegation tournament – It is still our main goal to get the slot for next MDL Season” – Nikolay “pNshr” Paunin

This win is very important for us because we got demotivated after not going to Los Angeles because of the visa issues. We had an amazing run in the closed qualifier after beating such good teams. The playoffs started a little bit scary because we lost our first bo3 and went to lower bracket. Afterwards we were winning every bo3, but were losing every single first map :D. The atmosphere was very good, everyone was calm and we were just hitting our shots.” – Alex “rainwaker” Petrov (grand final MVP)

Announcement of Head Coach “pNshr”

Announcement of Head Coach “pNshr”

We are proud to announce that SKADE has secured the services of veteran coach Nikolay “pNshr” Pauninto as the new head coach of our CS:GO roster. Nikolay signed with SKADE after being spending a year with Copenhagen Flames. His desire to work with his native Bulgarians was a perfect match for SKADE’s Bulgarian lineup.

SKADE has improved immeasurably over the past months, and the roster’s potential to reach the top tier leagues meant that we need someone that was 100% dedicated to ensuring their success. This responsibility was something Nikolay wanted to be part of, and we quickly found common ground. He’s already been working with the team for several weeks, but he has officially signed on with SKADE ahead of our next event in Copenhagen Games.

Previous Head Coach and CEO Kim-Erik “Zarotan” Aanes will continue on as CEO as we expand our esports efforts across several projects. Kim-Erik will continue to be involved with our Counter-Strike team, the change now gives him more opportunity to focus on growing our brand. With Aanes’ oversight, pNshr will focus on strategy and player performance in-game.

Aanes has this to say on pNshr’s addition: “Based on the improvement we have seen in this roster and our goal of reaching the top tier scene, a coach that can dedication 100% of his time to the team is what we needed. pNshr has already worked with the guys for some time, and I can say that he is what we needed as we look forward to several online tournaments and Copenhagen Games in April.”
Please welcome Nikolay to the SKADE family, and for those teams who will face our Bulgarian force in the future; good luck

PRESS RELEASE: FLASHPOINT LOS ANGELES

PRESS RELEASE: FLASHPOINT LOS ANGELES

Through February we’ve been extremely proud of our team to have overcome the European Qualifier, granting us a spot at the Global Qualifier of Flashpoint League. Defeating several teams higher ranked than us, going on a 6/1 win/loss run we gained one of only two tickets, finishing second among 32 teams total in the European qualifiers.

It is with great sadness we have to cancel the trip due to a series of VISA application issues at the US Bulgarian Embassy, where our team and coach were declined their VISA`s as a result we are not able to participate in this event.

We want to thank the lawyers from FaceIT and those at the Embassy trying their best to help us with the VISA’s. We understand they had to do everything by the book, we are sad to say that it all came down to a misunderstanding about the potential winnings from the tournament.

We as a team are upset about this, but again this is not the end of the world! With the experience about how this process works will surely give us ammunition not to fail at a later stage. Because there will for sure will be several later stages!

We are practicing and prepared for new challenges and we have just begun our preparations for the Copenhagen Games in about 1.5 months.

Stay tuned Denmark. We are coming!

What a start we had

What a start we had

What a start we have had!

To think that we launched only a few months ago and today, we stand as champions of yet another tournament as we win DAT Team Cup 🤩

2019 has been nothing short of amazing for us as we have shown everyone that hard work pays off. We started with bold predictions that we would be a part of the top 30 scene in EU at the end of the year. Guess what? We now sit at #25 😎 We said we would win at least 1 tournament.. we won 2! 😁

As we move forward we will focus on not just climbing the ranks in CS, but also growing the organisation in all ways we can. More content, more fan engagement, more staff and more game titles. 2020 will be the year of SKADE. 😉

“2019 has been one heck of a ride! For me personally it feels great to be back in management of a team that’s capable of performing at the highest level of esports again. My goal has always been to prove that passion and actually caring for your players and staff get’s you to the top. And with the foundations we have set in 2019, I am confident that 2020 will be even more amazing. The players are passionate, the staff really cares and we have found that family feeling.” – CEO, Kim-Erik Aanes

“I joined SKADE 2 months ago, of course every beginning is really hard and when I’m joining as an IGL we basically have to start from scratch. However we’ve been putting lots of hours into our game and even tho we had some ups and downs I am really happy with the way we are ending this year. Not only because of the wins lately, but also because I can see real improvement. I also want to say that I am really surprised with the organisation and the people in it, everyone is really nice and everyone really cares about all the players and is trying to help with everything possible! I Think in 2020 we can become a solid contender to the better teams and prove to the world that we can do a lot of damage.” – IGL, Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov

“It’s been a year with a lot of ups and downs for me, but it surely ended on a high. I joined Bpro back in January, where we had to go trough a lot of changes with players, roles etc. We still managed to compete on a decent level and take down some good teams, but in September our contracts were about to expire and we got a great offer from SKADE and we opted to sign with them. I’m not going to lie and say it was an easy choice, because the previous org helped us a lot and especially the CEO who brought in a sports psychologist that was really beneficial to us and a crucial part of my development. Our new adventure started when we signed with SKADE. Even tho SKADE is a new org, the people behind it are really experienced and really want to help with everything they know. The guys are always in touch with us and take care of what we do both inside and outside of the game. We understand how important that is and really appreciate it! They were so kind to us that at one point we couldn’t believe that it was true, but it was. We got to meet each other at a bootcamp in Norway and now I am really happy and glad that we have these guys holding our backs! – Denislav “dennyslaw” Dimitrov

With these words and kind statements we wish all our followers and fans a Happy New Year!! And we hope you stay with us for all the great things to come in 2020 🥳🥳
